(More customer reviews)I just got back from traveling Europe alone and this book was a lifesaver. A few times I ended up in a new city without a clue where a decent hostel was and thats when i pulled out this book! Also, restaurant tips were my favorite (especially the 5 euro pizzas and pasta bowls in ROME)! I would recommend this book for a first time trip to Europe! It gives you a nice heads up, and is a perfect read on the train to a new city.

For the most part the book is very acurate and up-to-date. It is also fun to read and gives lots of information on understanding the Swiss, their history, and their customs. (More customer reviews)I wouldn't say this is the best guide for the average tourist, but if you are a teenager, or are just looking for a unique guide on the nightlife and just plain fun places then this is the book for you. The descriptions of every city are written by different people therefore it gives a good variation and pleasant expertise. It doesn't even have to be your first time in Europe or any of these cities, but this book might open up a world you've never seen before. Well done , MTV.
