(More customer reviews)It might appear non sense, but I purchased this book just after I came back from a trip to L.A. In fact, I just wanted to see if I missed something important while I was there...and in fact, I didn't miss much.
Honestly, I think the book has good intentions. Ratings on attractions help people to decide what to do and visit, especially if time is short. However, the relevance of each spot is something that is a personal choice and opinions on what's worthy or not should be up to each reader. This is a feature that could be removed from the book, since it tends to influence people's decisions, sometimes negatively.
Inane comments are also a good feature of this book. Some subjects are not approached in a straight way and it helps us to get tired easily, even before we reach the point we want to. Sense of humor is good, but it should be carefully dosed.
I give this book 3 stars, which is a good rating, because this book makes a good general reference on Los Angeles anyway, but reviews and options given should be a little more unbiased in next editions.
