(More customer reviews)You can't tell from the picture but this book is literally tiny. 6" x 4.5" to be exact. But it bravely tries to cover every kind of comedy writing including character comedy, comedy plays, comedy drama, stand-up, sketches, radio comedy, TV comedy, screenplays, comedy novels, joke books. There's half a page on topical jokes etc etc. This does of course mean it's a bit vague about how to actually write and just tells you what to do if you have written something, but if you want a good romp through potential outlets for your comic writing it's worth a read.
