(More customer reviews)I didn't buy this online. I visited the local bookstore and took every book on Arizona off the shelf and looked at them all and chose this book because it had what I considered the best overall layout and approach. It turned out to be an **excellent** guide for our week-long Arizona trip. The book provides just enough information on each area as well as suggested drives and activities. I found it to be extremely helpful. Unlike other guidebooks, this one has a personality shining through. There's a person behind the information---you'll find language like 'this is my favorite..." or "...is why I like this ..." Some of the descriptive passages are very well-written. The information was timely and helpful, too. We constantly referred to it and felt very good about our choice of guidebooks. It was so helpful, I made a mental note to go back and write this review...
